Rainbow Rose is the LGBTI network bringing together people from socialist, labour and social-democratic parties across Europe. They work together for the advancement of LGBTI rights and against discrimination and exclusion across Europe.
As part of the Party of European Socialists (PES), Rainbow Rose works closely with European organisations to promote LGBTI rights within their political family and at a national and European level. Rainbow Rose’s objectives include: creating a strong LGBTI social-democratic network in each EU member State; promoting LGBTI issues within the PES family; supporting LGBTI initiatives in the different Council of Europe member states; and cooperating with LGBTI organisations to realise equality for all LGBTI European citizens.
