Facilitating access to third countries’ markets is decisive for economic growth and innovation support. While 90% of the global growth is estimated to originate outside the EU, developing and emerging markets are expected to account for 60% of world GDP by 2030. Even though European SMEs are actively involved in external trading markets, the internationalisation process is slow.
