Our work on regional developmment
We want to have a cohesion policy that fully involves people in the regions, supports smart, sustainable and inclusive growth, and reduces existing social and economic disparities, as well as engaging citizens.
Our achievements
Our Group has worked consistently on a range of issues; we proposed an urban agenda that would promote social inclusion, demographic change and sustainability.
With regard to cohesion policy post-2020, we are calling for adequate budgetary resources and simplified decision-making procedures. We also insist on the active involvement of all stakeholders including NGOs and local, regional and national authorities.
