Greta Thunberg, the climate activist, visited Parliament during the environment and public health committee to discuss with MEPs about the Climate Law presented by the European Commission, the legislation that will turn our ambition of carbon neutrality by 2050 into reality. "The EU must lead the way. You have the moral obligation to do so, and you have a unique economical and political opportunity to become a real climate leader. You yourselves declared that we are in a climate and environment emergency. You said this was an existential threat. Now you must prove that you mean it", said Greta Thunberg. The European Parliament has to listen to her and act on what she says. We certainly will.
