The new S&D Bureau has confirmed each of our vice-presidents’ responsibilities and areas of competence. We proudly present them below:
The European Parliament has also elected its Bureau this week. With five vice-presidents and a quaestor we are sending a strong, pro-European team in the institution’s leading structure. Congratulations, Katarina, Pina, Victor, Christel, Javi and Marc!
It’s time to also announce our S&D committee coordinators. During what is known as the constitutive process, our members, who have already taken their seats in their respective committees, vote for the person who will coordinate activities at Group level.

Coming up next
Two more committees have yet to elect their coordinators. Thus, on Monday, 22 July, our MEPs in the committees on the internal market and consumer protection (IMCO) and the one on women’s rights and gender equality (FEMM) will vote on their new coordinators.
