Bernd Lange, S&D MEP and chair of the committee for international trade; Inmaculada Rodriguez Pinero, S&D MEP and spokesperson for Colombia, Peru and Ecuador; and Ramon Jáuregui, S&D MEP and EUROLAT co-chair, will partake in a European Parliament delegation visit to Colombia and Peru from 12 -16 February 2018 to follow-up on the implementation of the trade agreements with Columbia and Peru, concluded in 2012, and especially on the human rights roadmap which the Socialists and Democrats Group in the European Parliament had pushed to include in the trade agreement.
 
The delegation will meet among others with:

Minister of Foreign Affairs, María Angela Holguín;
Minister of Trade, Industry and Tourism, Maria Lorena Gutierrez;
Minister of Labour, Griselda Restrepo;
The President of Peru, Pedro Pablo Kuczynski;
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cayetana Aljovín;
Minister of Economy and Finance, Claudia Cooper;

Meeting with Minister of Foreign Commerce and Tourism, Eduardo Ferreyros;
Meeting with Minister of Labour and Employment Promotion, Javier Barreda;
President of Congress, Luis Galarreta;

- along with representatives of human rights organisations and trade unions, as well as both the business and agricultural community in Peru and in Columbia.
