Transforming Europe with the European Solidarity and Voluntary Service.

When we come together in solidarity, we can truly transform Europe.
 ️
Over the past 20 years, the European Voluntary Service has had a major impact on the lives of young people and communities across the EU. It will soon develop into the European Solidarity and Voluntary Service (ESVS).

At the forefront of this new initiative, we want to make sure that member states fully support the ESVS. To enlarge and to re-vitalise the idea of truly EU civic service, it must be self-standing and be allocated with fresh money. We also want to make sure that these experiences will be full recognised on the CV.  If we commit to high standards, we have to deliver on them. Since 1996, 100,000 young people have participated, we're aiming high and want 100,000 more participants by 2020. We can't let them down!
