Economic union that works for you

"Europe needs a strong growth pact to exit the crisis"

The sharpest lesson to learn from the eurozone crisis is that sharing a currency without sharing economic and social goals leads to instability and goes against Europe's shared values. Our vision is for a stronger union that tackles the imbalances in the system.

We want to:

1. Rewrite the rules to protect essential investment and ensure that the EU and its member states can take action and follow anti-cyclical policies to combat recession.

2. Make social issues central to the economic and monetary union, putting social rights and standards for all Europeans on equal terms with economic goals.

3. Radically strengthen democratic accountability, to give Europe's big economic decisions back to European citizens through their elected national and European parliaments.
