Humanity should unite us against fear, violence and war. And in Trapani it does. In Trapani, they work night and day with their hearts. Here people speak to each other. A sense of involvement and responsibility for the wellbeing of the incoming migrants constitutes the general rule and not the exception. Hotspots can work, it is not just another Bruxelles invention. And Trapani confirms it! With 99.8% of the applications being processed, the incoming people reaching our shores have a chance to lead a normal life. But our focus should turn towards those children arriving without their parents. We need to modify the European legislation to acknowledge them directly as refugees and fully respect their right to education!

Congratulations for the excellent work of Prefetto Leopoldo Falco and Commissario Francesco Palermo Patera!
